@ShiniqueSmith: ‘I’m trying to transform everyday matters into a more beautiful gesture that makes us think about our place in the world.’ Influenced by Japanese calligraphy, and the potential of unused materials, the artist has created a new series of works for the @UBS Lounge at #ArtBaseMiamiBeach which she hopes will energize and inspire.
