Nuit Blanche Paris will be held 03 Jun 2023 in Paris, France. Nuit Blanche Paris is an exciting artistic event. The Nuit Blanche is when everyone stays up all night, or until later than usual, to appreciate a bit of culture. Autumn in Paris is about falling leaves, grey skies… and Nuit Blanche. Every first Saturday in October, beginning at sunset, Paris takes to the streets to celebrate contemporary art. Installations, light displays, music, and visual art performances transform the capital into art trails that fail all principle of tour planning. Nuit Blanche’s success in Paris has been undeniable since its creation in 2002. The free all-night event takes place in over twenty different urban spaces. A multi-cultural event which happens all across the greater Paris region, the Nuit Blanche take place at museums, libraries, monuments, religious buildings, tourist sites, cinemas, parks and gardens, hospitals and universities… For the Nuit Blanche, the city as a whole stays up for a massive nocturnal art festival, with crowds strolling the streets and admiring works of art. As part of the Nuit Blanche, numerous museums and galleries will stay open late and admit visitors for free. Nuit Blanche Paris is an event and I like events...

Become your own tour guide:

You become your own guide, setting off on an unusual quest for the avant-garde spirit of Nuit Blanche. Follow your senses; engage in a night of ambling and interconnectedness.

Different themes, different lights... different energy:

The Berge de Seine in 2013, the construction site at Les Halles in 2012, or Northern and Eastern Paris in 2005 were all avenues to lead you into the early hours of the morning. Each Nuit Blanche edition offers new ways to encounter the city.

Nuit Blanche Paris Flying orchestra:

New technologies are at the heart of the dusk-to-dawn event. Contemporary artists transform the capital’s land and sky into a remarkable multimedia experience.

In its tradition of audacious spectacles, Nuit Blanche 2013 featured the performance of German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen’s Helikopter- Streichquartert, a piece of music in which four musicians pass over the audience in four helicopters.

Fireworks on the Seine River, a gigantic children playground in the 19th district, pools of foam cubes, fog installation on Place de la Republique... Nuit Blanche is filled with surprises.

Become an artist too:

Nuit Blanche is also an event where people —not just the 50 participating international artists— can interact and intersect. Remember, you are part of it too!
