Performance Project at LISTE - Art Fair Basel:
Since 2005, the Performance Project has been an integral part of LISTE in Basel. Young curators are invited to develop a program to be presented during fair week that demonstrates current tendencies and trends in the field of performance art. As an independent project, it provides artists with a platform for actualizing specific works and an opportunity to present their works before a broad public. Performance Project is intended not only for an expert audience, but also an interested public. It brings together national and international, well-known and young emerging positions in contemporary art and presents the developments among and interests of young artists.

Liste - Art Fair Basel will be held 14 to 20 Sep 2020 in Basel, Switzerland. Liste - Art Fair Basel had established itself as the most important fair exclusively for new galleries and current art worldwide. Since the fair’s inception, LISTE’s focus has been on introducing new galleries with young, emerging artists. The strict selection policy of the expert jury, composed of museum people, combined with the fact that the number of galleries, is kept intentionally low give the fair its high quality, vitality and dynamism. The intentionally low number of 79 galleries and the high level of sophistication of those galleries are reasons for LISTE’s extraordinary success, international reputation and drawing power.
