The History of Foodexpo:
2004: 3 trade fairs merged under the name Foodexpo, which back then and today gathers the industries of foodservice, retail, hotel & restaurant.
2006: Entrepreneurs’ Forum, The Hotel of the Future and Education Day were new topics on the agenda.
2008: Gastronomy Market was part of Foodexpo for the first time. Today it is the most popular area of the fair.
2010: Nordic Chef of the Year was introduced and today Nordic Waiter of the year is also part of the competition.
2012: for the first time, the food service sector was gathered under one concept in the biggest exhibition hall. The number of fair days were reduced from 4days to 3days.
2014: the association for professional kitchen equipment and its members were gathered for the first time at Foodexpo. The food waste was in focus.
