The festival gives special emphasis to European animation films, regardless of techniques, style and aesthetic trends thus demonstrating the common cultural heritage.
2020 Athens ANIMFEST:
The 12th Athens ANIMFEST – International Animation Festival opens to Animation fans again at the Greek Film Archive. With a 7 day program full of shorts and feature animations, It responds to animators from around the world willing either to compete or to screen their movies in the parallel special events of our festival.
Notice:Only ANIMATED movies (Feature, Short, Student, Experimental and Greek) are accepted for submission.

Athens ANIMFEST will be held 19 to 22 Mar 2020 in Athens, Greece. Athens ANIMFEST is one of most famous animation festival. The seven-day festival has entertained and educated people interested in animation films. The festival includes the screening of major and independent animation films from around the world, created with a variety of different techniques.
