TASHKENT, Uzbekistan Iteca Exhibitions, a major organiser of international exhibitions and conferences in Uzbekistan, is marking its 30th anniversary, reflecting three decades of activity in the country’s exhibition sector.

Founded in 1995, Iteca Exhibitions has overseen the development of the modern exhibition market in Uzbekistan, introducing international practices and standards. Its first events included the Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition (TIHE) and Oil & Gas Uzbekistan (OGU), both of which have since expanded to become prominent regional industry gatherings.

The company’s portfolio now includes approximately 20 international exhibitions, covering sectors such as construction, healthcare, energy, textile engineering, food production, and mechanical engineering. These events have contributed to positioning Uzbekistan on the global exhibition map and have attracted participation from companies and professionals across multiple countries.

In the 2025 exhibition season, Iteca hosted 20 international events, four major forums, and 36 specialised seminars. According to company data, these programmes featured more than 4,300 companies and brands, nearly 4,000 delegates from 55 countries, and over 101,000 visitors from 75 countries.

Organisers reported that exhibitions provided platforms for business networking, commercial negotiations, and project discussions, with activity at two major exhibition venues in Uzbekistan. They noted that interactions facilitated through these events contributed to business agreements and contracts collectively valued at more than USD 1 billion.

Iteca Exhibitions has been a full member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) since 2007, the first company in Uzbekistan to receive this recognition. Several of its major exhibitions, including UzBuild and OGU/Power Uzbekistan, have retained UFI-approved status under this membership.

Looking ahead, the organiser plans to expand its exhibition calendar in 2026 to include 22 exhibitions and five conferences, with additional initiatives aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers and promoting investment in key economic sectors.
