GOYANG & SEOUL – Korea Build Week, South Korea’s largest and longest-running trade exhibition for the construction and architecture industries, has announced its 2026 schedule. The event will be held in two primary phases: a February session at the KINTEX center in Goyang and an August session at COEX in Seoul’s Gangnam District.
February Session: Focus on Industrial Innovation
The first leg of the exhibition is scheduled for February 4–7, 2026, at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang. This winter session is expected to highlight advancements in Off-Site Construction (OSC), modular housing, and smart building technologies.
Organizers have indicated that the 2026 Goyang event will specifically target the digital transformation of the building sector. Exhibitors will showcase energy-efficient materials and automated construction equipment designed to address shifting urban development needs in the Gyeonggi-do region.
August Session: Interior Design and Smart Living
The second phase, Korea Build Week (Seoul), will take place from August 5–8, 2026, at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center. Located in the Samseong-dong neighborhood of the Gangnam District, the August event typically focuses on interior design, high-end finishing materials, and smart home solutions.
This session is traditionally favored by international buyers and local design firms due to its central location in Seoul's primary business hub.
Industry Significance
Established in 1986, Korea Build has grown into a globally recognized trade show, receiving certifications from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). According to data from previous years, the event attracts over 700 exhibitors and upwards of 50,000 visitors annually, including architects, engineers, and government officials.
