Grundtvig's Church is located in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a rare example of expressionist church architecture, and was designed by Peder Vilhelm Jensen-Klint between 1913-1936. . The interior, inspired by Gothic architecture and comparable in size to Copenhagen cathedral, fits a congregation of 1,440. Some five million yellow bricks, a typical Danish building material, were used for the edifice. . . . Repost: @nowness Image: @ludwigfavre Copy: @wikipedia . . . #LDF20 #London #Design #Festival
