Glastonbury Festival will be held 26 to 30 Jun 2019 in Pilton, England. Glastonbury Festival is one of the most famous festival and A unique feast of music set on a huge site offering a grand scale of entertainment unlike any other festival in the world. It began the day after Jimi Hendrix died, in 1970. For five days 2,000 acres around Pilton farm plays host to a tented city in Somerset. As well as music from nearly every genre imaginable on over 100 stages, there's performing arts with cabaret, theatre, circus, children's entertainment, poetry, healing, green crafts and information and much more. Vibrant, spontaneous, colourful, and hugely entertaining. Glastonbury is the largest greenfield festival in the world, and requiring extensive infrastructure in terms of security, transport, water, and electricity supply. The majority of staff are volunteers, helping the festival to raise millions of pounds for good causes. Glastonbury Festival is an event and I like events...
Expect something like 2,000 performances at over 100 venues including music, cabaret, theatre, circus, a fantastic Kidz area, poetry, green crafts and information, site art, decor, and loads, loads more ... much more than just the music, so make sure you check it all out!
In many ways, Glastonbury is like loads of different festivals converging on the same gorgeous countryside for the weekend. Each area of the Festival has its own character, its own loyal fans and its own special attractions: so Silver Hayes (formerly the Dance Village) is as distinct from the Green Fields as the Circus & Theatre fields are from The Park.
Good causes:
Last year's Festival was, once again, able to give around £2 million to Oxfam, Greenpeace, WaterAid and hundreds of other worthy causes, both local and international.
The ticket re-sales will take place over two separate days, and can only be booked by those who are registered, as part of the Festival's system to beat ticket touting. Those wanting to travel to the Festival by coach will get the first opportunity to book tickets.

Your ticket price includes access to the camping fields. You can choose to pitch your tent anywhere within the designated camping zones that sit throughout the Festival, from fields right next to the Pyramid Stage to more tranquil areas on the outskirts of the Festival.
