Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) will be held 04 to 13 Oct 2023 in Busan, South Korea. Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) is one of the largest film festivals in Korea and most significant film festivals in Asia. Starting in 1996 as the first international film festival in the country, it has recently grown to be a major global event. the festival has become a genuine driving force behind the development of not only Korean cinema, but also Asian cinema. With a variety of diverse films in genre and from different origins, BIFF will continue to offer a solid ground for the development of local film industry and discover new Asian cinema talents through constructive efforts- including a co production market and practical support programs for film productions both for Korean and Asian cinema. The focus of the event is to introduce new films, directors, young talent, especially from Asian countries.
