Produire au Sud Workshop:

Produire au Sud is a workshop for participants to acquire the tools needed for international coproduction. It is for young directors and producers from Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Created in 2000 by the Festival des 3 Continents, the PAS workshop is today organised throughout the world as a complement to and at the same time as the annual festival week in Nantes

Des 3 Continents Festival Moments of glory:

The Competition has also had its moments of glory: Souleymane Cissé (Mali) in 1979, Hou Hsiao-hsien (Taïwan) in 1984, Abbas Kiarostami (Iran) in 1987, Wong Kar-wai (Hong-Kong) in 1991, Tsai Ming-liang (Taiwan) in 1993, Jia Zhang-ke (China) in 1998 and many more.

Des 3 Continents Festival 2020 Submission Requirements:

1. Directors must originate or be nationals of an African, Black American, Latin American or Asian country or region.

2. Films must be at least 45 minutes in length.

3. Films submitted for the competition must have been completed after 1st November 2014 and be unreleased in France (no programming in Festivals, commercial screening, no TV or VaD broadcasting) before the opening of the Festival des 3 Continents.
