Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) will be held 06 Sep to 09 Dec 2018 in Singapore, Singapore. Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is a biennial gathering of minds from around the world with the common pursuit to advance the art and appreciation of photography. It aims to be a much needed arena for critical thought and academic discourse on photography in Southeast Asia. SIPF will also function as a key platform to discover, nurture, and propel Southeast Asian photographers onto the international stage. Through its satellite programmes, the festival hopes to engage the public and cultivate a larger audience. At the core of SIPF is a firm belief that photography can be enjoyed by all. In each festival edition, SIPF invites arts professionals from all around the world to take part in the festival as curators and portfolio reviewers. The selection of the Open Call submissions for the festival exhibitions are decided by the curators, independently of the festival organisers. Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is an event and I like events...
Participants can submit up to 4 bodies of works. All submissions must be completed in English.
In the previous festival edition, SIPF received 707 submissions from 70 countries. Out of these submissions, works of 47 photographers from 23 countries were selected by the festival’s independent curatorial panel and exhibited across the National Museum of Singapore, DECK, and Chapel Gallery from 3 October 2014 to 30 November 2014.
