The World Nuclear Exhibition is the leading event for the global nuclear sector.
With accordingly 98% and 97% of visitors and exhibitors satisfaction, WNE contains around 2000 business meetings during three days.
All the main players in the global nuclear industry will be represented, covering reactor design, construction, nuclear install base services, every stage of the fuel cycle from mining to fabrication through to spent fuel management and recycling as well as engineering, financing solutions, medical applications and certification.
The visitors include institutional & operational ministers, safety authorities, governmental agencies, operators, NPP directors, purchase directors, engineers, R&D experts and control experts. The WNE week program targets Life extension and maintenance of existing plants, New Build, Technologies of the future in the nuclear field, Fuel cycle, Training, Radiation protection, Waste processing and storage, Decommissioning and dismantling of components, Robotics and technology (welding, machining, nondestructive testing), Medical applications and Finance and insurance. To achieve this, WNE prepares an opening ceremony with International high level experts, to follow up with Panel discussions with top level International speakers in the morning as well as Technical panels and business opportunities sessions in the afternoon. World Nuclear Exhibition has three strong entities. The side events, as International and / or national professional, scientific and / or technical meetings (not business oriented), the WNE, business oriented and Sites visits, designed and conceived to enhance the expertise of in situ exhibitors.
World Nuclear Energy is an AIFEN event (the association of French nuclear industry exporters). AIFEN represents more than 300 French companies and major organizations (PFCE, PFME, GIIN, PNB). These companies (SMEs, VSBs and larger groups) cover the entire nuclear cycle, from fuel manufacturing to dismantling, including engineering, technology, components, production, research, etc. They are active in electricity generation, the development of research reactors, the sciences, medical applications and even marine propulsion.
