The Paris Book Fair is considered to be one of the most important book fairs in the world. This year the fair welcomes more than 200000 visitors from the general public, including 36500 children under eighteen, 12,000 students, 20,000 visitors at the opening, 30,000 professionals. More than 1,200 exhibitors are hosting your presence in their stands. The fair’s visitors can discover all that the French and international publishing houses have to offer, with around 500 stands and shared trading counters.
Paris Book Fair also has several events stages: the Authors’ Stage, the Main Stage, the Little Stage and the Digital Stage. Every year, there are five main themes, including a country and a city represented by a delegation of writers, forming a basis for several cycles of conferences. This year, South Korea will be the guest of honour at the fair.

The Paris Book Fair entry is €12/ visitor. There is also a special group offer as €8.50 /visitor. Free access is also available for 18 and younger teenagers with ID card presentation at the register.
