World Cinema Amsterdam will be held 15 to 24 Aug 2020 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. World Cinema Amsterdam brings indoor and open-air screenings to the Rialto cinema and nearby Marie Heinekenplein. The film festival that screens the best and most beautiful recent films from Latin America, Asia and Africa - films that will make you see, feel and experience how life is elsewhere. And if you want to know something more about the films... you can ask the directors! Many of them will be present during the festival. Some films will screen in competition and be up for awards while others will screen outside competition, simply in the name of great art. Many of the filmmakers will be present during the course of the festival to take part in a programme of Q&A sessions, master classes and debates around the film culture and the themes these films touch on.
