Mozart Festival Wurzburg 2018 theme:
“Mozart’s Europe” is the theme of this year’s season at Mozartfest Würzburg from June 3rd to July 3rd 2018. The Festival programme 2018 asks for cultural diversity and unity. It traces the musical Europe of Mozart’s lifetime. For more than ten years Wolfgang Amadé Mozart travelled through ten countries of the present-day Europe - for him a sonorous experience.
Thus the Mozartfest 2018 combines great names and outstanding young talents, Mozart and the modern age, awareness of traditions and risk taking - just how it should be for the Festival’s namesake.
